loyal clients today, and what I mean by that is going to vary based on your practice area, because maybe some of you out there, maybe in the criminal defense space or the family law space, you're like I don't want repeat clients, like that's just. You know that says a lot about you know the people that I work with. You know I don't want to constantly keep filing divorces for someone or I don't want to constantly keep bailing someone out of jail. Maybe you do, I don't know. That's why I'm not a lawyer, because that's the mindset that I have. But you can still, regardless of your practice, or you can still have loyal, raving fan clients.
Speaker 1:And you know look, here's the thing. First of all, know who the potential clients are that are going to fit this mold right. You know, make you know, identify like who represents a significant portion of your billing or who refers the most business to you, and give them that A-list treatment right. Give them more personal attention, priority response times, consistent access to you. Give them invitations to like various events that you're doing. If you do like a client appreciation event, give them like a VIP pass to it. You know, send them a handwritten thank you note. Send like a special appreciation gift like a bottle of wine or a nice bottle of scotch, something like that, you know, and it really does go a long way makes them feel appreciated and it will keep them coming back.
Speaker 1:Make sure also that everyone in your office knows who they are as well. So if they come in or if they call the office, you know, make sure that people know to be excited about when they get there and that it's not just a thing between you and that client only. You know it's so much easier to keep those clients retained, keep them happy and turn them into raving fans than it is to constantly be hunting for replacements and cold leads and stuff like that. And so, um, you know, if you're, if you're focused on the nurturing, you're focused on building those raving fans, you are really on the right track for increasing those profit margins and doing so in a more efficient way.
